This isn’t just where we work, it’s where we live, raise families, and spend our time. We care about how projects fit into our community and how they’ll look and function years from now, not just on day one.

Our Client Feedback

I like John and the re:done team. They’re honest people, the pricing stayed reasonable throughout the project, and they did a really good job overall. The project wrapped up in a timeframe that felt reasonable, and I was happy with how everything turned out.

One of the things I noticed working with re:done is that I never felt like they were talking down to us. They felt more like partners. Some contractors can come across like fast talkers who are just going to do what they’re going to do, but I never felt that way with their team. They were respectful, smart, and able to talk with you at your level.

Tanya Gonzalez

John and the re:done Team really seem to know houses. They had ideas and solutions to offer, it wasn’t just, ‘Tell us what you want.’ They kept the character of the house while modernizing everything else, the bones, the foundation, all of it. That’s something we really appreciated and needed.

Greg Eiselein

We landed on re:done for the Bootsies project because, with the size and complexity of the project, I wanted to work with someone I could communicate with regularly. John and his crew did a really good job staying in constant contact throughout the process.

One Egg Group

We trust them so much, and they’re just easy to work with. They know us, they know what we like and don’t like, and at this point we really understand how they operate. There’s a comfort level there that made the whole process easier.

Joe Gritton

I’m really impressed by the creativity and workmanship you get from re:done. When John sees something, he suggests ideas we wouldn’t have thought of, and when we have a vision, he figures out how to make it work.

Connie Hamilton

We had re:done come finish our stairs, after dealing with a “handy man” that left the stairs in much worse shape than they were, and also damaged several materials in the process. re:done was able to come fix and finish the job, and the results were incredible. They were professional, fast, and clearly knew how to do their job. We hope to use them for our bathroom remodel.

Amy Long

re:done has the unique ability to work in the residential market and take-on remodeling projects that need great craftsmanship. I always recommend John for jobs that require lots of thinking and good details. He's one of the best residential contractors out there that can do new construction and remodeling.

re:done did a garage addition for us and we are so pleased with the outcome. You can't even tell it wasn't an original part of the house. It came out even better than we imagined. The guys who did the work were very professional and capable made me feel very comfortable with them coming and going into the house during the weeks they were here. I highly recommend them for any renovation projections you might need.

Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Do you handle both design and construction, or should I bring my own plans?

We can do both, and we’re comfortable meeting you wherever you are in the process.

Some clients come with plans. Others come with ideas. In either case, we work alongside you to think through how the space will function, how materials will perform, and how everything comes together before construction begins.

Our in-house interior designer plays a key role in that process, helping translate ideas into cohesive, buildable plans and guiding selections so everything feels aligned.

That shared clarity upfront leads to better decisions and a smoother build.

What does your process look like from start to finish?

We start by listening. Not just to what you want to build, but to how you want it to feel and function day-to-day.

From there, we work together to develop a clear plan, and take the time to resolve details early so you’re not forced into rushed decisions later.

During construction, we stay engaged and accountable. You’ll know where things stand, what’s coming next, and when your input is needed. It’s a steady, collaborative process, not one where you’re left guessing.

How do you approach budgets and estimates?

We treat budget conversations as part of the partnership, not a one-time number.

Early on, we’ll talk through realistic ranges based on your goals and the type of work involved. As the plan becomes more defined, so does the pricing.

Along the way, we help you understand tradeoffs so you can make informed decisions, including where to invest, where to simplify, and how to stay aligned with your priorities.

Who will I be working with throughout the project?

You’ll be working with a small, experienced team led by John Stamey, with a dedicated project manager assigned to your project. They’ll be your primary point of contact, keeping things on track, communicating clearly, and making sure nothing gets lost along the way. We stay involved from planning through construction, so there’s continuity in both decision-making and execution. You won’t be handed off, you’ll work with the same team from start to finish.

How do you communicate during a project?

Clear communication is one of the most important parts of a successful project. We stay in touch through a combination of in-person conversations, phone calls, email, and Buildertrend, our project management platform. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, schedule information, and notifications as work progresses.

We also believe that no app can replace a real conversation. If questions come up, we’re available to talk through them and help you make informed decisions along the way. Our goal is for you to always know what’s happening, what’s next, and what to expect.

Can you help recreate historical details or match existing design elements?

Absolutely. Restoring and remodeling older homes is one of our specialties. We understand that the character of a home often lies in the details, from trim profiles and built-ins to original woodwork, doors, and architectural features.

Whenever possible, we work to preserve and replicate the elements that make a home unique while updating the spaces behind the walls for modern comfort and functionality. We enjoy the challenge of finding creative solutions that honor a home’s history while meeting the needs of today’s homeowners.

Those projects are often some of our favorites because they allow us to blend craftsmanship, problem-solving, and respect for the original design.
