Kitchen Renovations
About the service
Your kitchen is the most-used room in your home, and often it’s the one most overdue for a rethink. At re:done, we approach kitchen renovations as a design and construction challenge, not just a cosmetic refresh. We look at how you actually cook, move through the space, and gather as a family, and then we help you build a kitchen that works for the life you actually live.
What a Kitchen Renovations with re:done Includes
We handle kitchen renovations from initial concept through final walkthrough. Depending on your goals and budget, a project might include layout reconfiguration, custom cabinetry, countertop selection and installation, tile backsplash, lighting redesign, plumbing and fixture upgrades, flooring, and appliance integration. We don’t offer a menu of packages, but we do build a project scope based on what your kitchen needs and what matters most to you.
Design Before the Hammer
Before any work begins, we take the time to understand how your kitchen should function. Our interior designer works with you to develop a plan that makes sense for your space, your habits, and your home’s character. Good kitchen design is about workflow, storage logic, natural light, and how the kitchen connects to the rest of the house. We plan these things out ahead of time so you’re not making expensive decisions under pressure during construction.
Built to Last, Not Just to Photograph
We focus on materials and installation quality that hold up to real daily use. That means proper substrate prep under tile, cabinetry that’s level and shimmed to account for real-world floors, countertops cut precisely for your space, and lighting that actually illuminates work surfaces. The details that don’t show up in photos are often the ones that determine how your kitchen feels ten years from now.
Kitchens We’ve Built
We’ve renovated kitchens in historic homes where we had to work around original character while improving function dramatically. We’ve opened up small, closed-off kitchens to create better flow. We’ve taken outdated spaces and rebuilt them from the studs with cohesive, durable designs that feel like they belong in the home. Every project is different because every home, and family, is different.

Signage FabricationA sign is often the first physical impression a business makes. At re:done, we design and fabricate custom signs that are built to last, reflect the character of the business they represent, and work at the scale and context they're installed in. Whether you need an exterior blade sign, a dimensional interior logo wall, or a handcrafted wayfinding system, we approach signage as a craft project, not a commodity.
Gates and DoorsA gate or door is both a functional element and a first impression. It's the boundary between outside and in, between public and private. At re:done, we design and fabricate custom gates and doors that are built to the specific dimensions, materials, and character of the project they serve. Whether it's a wood and metal entry gate for a commercial property, a carved wood front door for a historic home, or a custom interior door for a renovation, we bring the same craft and intention to doors that we bring to everything else we build.
Seating and TablesOff-the-shelf furniture rarely fits a custom space perfectly. At re:done, we design and build custom seating and tables for a variety of applications. We can create custom pieces that fit the specific dimensions, materials, and character of your project. Whether it's a banquette for a restaurant dining room, a farmhouse table for a renovated kitchen, or custom built-in seating for a commercial lounge, we build furniture that belongs in the space it was made for.
