A sign is often the first physical impression a business makes. At re:done, we design and fabricate custom signs that are built to last, reflect the character of the business they represent, and work at the scale and context they’re installed in. Whether you need an exterior blade sign, a dimensional interior logo wall, or a handcrafted wayfinding system, we approach signage as a craft project, not a commodity.
What We Fabricate
Our custom signage work includes exterior signs in wood, metal, and composite materials; dimensional lettering and logo elements; interior lobby and accent signs; directional and wayfinding systems; menu boards and display elements; and historically appropriate signage for restoration and historic commercial properties. We can work from your existing brand assets or collaborate on the design.
Materials and Methods
We work with a range of materials depending on the application, the aesthetic, and the installation environment. Exterior signs need to be built for UV exposure, temperature variation, and moisture. Interior signs can prioritize visual refinement. We match material and fabrication method to the demands of the specific project, not to what’s easiest to produce.
The Design-Fabrication Connection
Signage that’s designed without thinking through how it will be fabricated and installed often ends up looking different from the original vision. Because we’re both designers and fabricators, we develop designs that are beautiful in concept and technically sound in execution. Proportions, material thicknesses, mounting details, and lighting (if applicable) are all considered as part of the design, not afterthoughts.
Signage as Part of a Larger Project
Custom signage often works naturally alongside a larger renovation or buildout. When we’re already constructing your commercial space, designing and fabricating your sign is a seamless extension of the work. The design language, materials, and installation are all coordinated. We also take standalone signage commissions for clients with a specific need.
